The Mutianyu Great Wall

慕田峪長(zhǎng)城，全長(zhǎng)5400米，是中國(guó)最長(zhǎng)的長(zhǎng)城，也是北京十六景之一， 享有“萬(wàn)里長(zhǎng)城，慕田峪獨(dú)秀”的美譽(yù)。慕田峪長(zhǎng)城是明代萬(wàn)里長(zhǎng)城的精華所在，該段長(zhǎng)城東連古北口，西接居庸關(guān)，自古以來(lái)就是拱衛(wèi)京畿的軍事要處，長(zhǎng)城墻體保持完整，較好地體現(xiàn)了長(zhǎng)城古韻，有著深厚的歷史價(jià)值和較高的文化價(jià)值。1987年，慕田峪長(zhǎng)城被聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織列入“世界文化遺產(chǎn)”名錄。

The Mutianyu Great Wall, with a total length of 5400 meters, is the longest wall in China and one of the sixteen scenic spots in Beijing. It enjoys the reputation of being the "highlight of the Great Wall, unique to Mutianyu." Being the essence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, the Mutianyu section connects the ancient Gubeikou in the east and reaches Juyong Pass in the west. Throughout history, it has been a strategic military location guarding the capital region. The wall of the Great Wall remains intact, showcasing the ancient charm of the wall and possessing profound historical and cultural value. In 1987, the Mutianyu Great Wall was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

人間三月，春光正好，留學(xué)生辦公室計(jì)劃組織國(guó)際學(xué)生前往慕田峪長(zhǎng)城登高攬勝，活動(dòng)具體安排如下：

Mainly for new international students and students coming to China for the first time.

掃描下方二維碼報(bào)名。截止時(shí)間為3月13日（星期四）17:00，名額有限，欲報(bào)從速。

注意事項(xiàng)

Notes

1. 本次活動(dòng)的交通費(fèi)由學(xué)校承擔(dān)，其余費(fèi)用自理。

The round-trip bus fare will be covered by the university. Participants should pay for other necessary expenses (the entrance tickets, insurance, etc).

2. 留學(xué)生辦公室將在3月14日（星期五）20:00前通過(guò)郵件通知報(bào)名成功的同學(xué)，請(qǐng)注意查收郵件。

International Students Office will inform the students who registered successfully by 8:00 p.m., March 14 (Friday), please stay updated.

3. 請(qǐng)根據(jù)天氣情況穿著舒適服裝出行，酌情準(zhǔn)備戶(hù)外裝備，攜帶充足飲用水。戶(hù)外攀爬分組結(jié)伴量力而行，不要擅自離隊(duì)，切記保管好個(gè)人財(cái)務(wù)，注意人身安全。

Please dress comfortably, prepare appropriate outdoor gear and carry sufficient drinking water. During outdoor climbing, form groups and stay together, do not wander off on your own, and do take care of your personal belongings and ensure safety.

4. 如無(wú)特殊情況，本次活動(dòng)名單確定后不允許隨意退出。

Once registered successfully, students are not allowed to withdraw unless under exceptional circumstances.
